Laura Santurri - President

My name is Laura Santurri, and I have had IC since December 27, 1997. I ran the Akron Ohio IC Support Group for almost four years and am now the President of IC Support, Inc. I will be graduating from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in May of 2007 with a Masters in Public Health and plan to start nursing school in January of 2008 at the Huron School of Nursing (in Cleveland, Ohio). I also work full-time for the Research Division of the Department of Family Medicine at CWRU.

My favorite things are playing with my five dogs, reading (for fun), running (albeit slowly), and relaxing with my husband. I aspire to one day run a marathon and cross the finish line smiling and waving at my dad.

Pasco Santurri – Vice President

I’m Pasco (Pat) Santurri. I’m a graduate of Providence College, Lehigh University, and the University of Rhode Island. I received my PhD in chemistry in 1962. My early years in industry were devoted primarily to research and development, and manufacturing. Later I had the opportunity to start my own business and become more involved in the administrative aspects of running a business. Today I’m on the board of directors of the Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition and managing a team of scientists to develop components for fuel cells.

I’ve been an avid golfer and jogger for the last 40 years and will continue being active in both.

Patricia Santurri – Secretary

My name is Patricia (Pat) Santurri, and I have been working at an area elementary school as a classroom assistant for six years, the last three with children with autism. I have almost twenty years experience with the local PTA and have served on committees at the local mental health agency. Past work experience also includes administrative assistant responsibilities.

I’m an avid Jane Austin fan, and I enjoy photography, drawing, and art in general.

Nancy Lindemood - Treasurer

My name is Nancy Lindemood, and I’m honored to be Treasurer of IC Support, Inc. My sister Laura recently inspired me to get serious about running again, and I’m very proud of what she has accomplished both professionally and personally.

I have worked in Finance & Accounting at Procter & Gamble for the past 23 years. I volunteer with the Cincinnati SPCA, the Strategic Humane Intervention Project (teaching positive reinforcement by clicker training dogs), and I love learning about dog behavior and training techniques. My family includes my husband, 2 stepsons, 3 grandchildren, 3 dogs and 3 cats. My husband and I are aspiring hobby farmers, and we hope to produce crops of pumpkins, Indian corn, hay and wheat this year.
